I found a nice Protestant Christian Mothers Day blessing and tweaked it a little bit, this will be the Grace I say at table with my family today, and I share it with you all now.
Dear God,
We thank you for the gift of motherhood. Thank you for the blessing it is to those who are called Mother. Thank you for the good plans you have in store for those who still wait to be a Mother. Thank you for the numerous children you have given to so many Mothers and mentors. We pray that you would fill this day with favor and grace as we honor Mothers all around our nation, and Mothers around our table.
Today we give thanks for this food and all material blessings you have given us, and we pray for refreshing, for joy, for grace, for wisdom, for great peace...for all mothers, especially these seated here, for mothers to be, and for all women who nurture and lead.
Through Christ Our Lord,
